Structuring medical event compliance
Context
This organization manages a complex process for submitting, reviewing, and following up on medical events under strict compliance regulations. Due to the large number of stakeholders involved, extensive data requirements, and manual follow-up, maintaining a clear overview became increasingly challenging.
That is why our client chose Desino to develop a digital platform that centralizes and automates the entire event lifecycle process — with a strong focus on compliance, transparency, and efficiency.

What did we achieve?
We developed an end-to-end platform that enables applicants to easily register and submit events. Depending on the type of event and other parameters, the platform dynamically collects the required information through a clear and guided flow. A key focus was maximizing data reuse wherever possible. In addition, all users within the same organization have full visibility into statuses and ongoing submissions, eliminating uncertainty and miscommunication.
The people responsible for approvals within the central authority receive all information in a structured and centralized way. AI is also leveraged to provide intelligent recommendations, using historical data to support decision-making and identify patterns. Once approved, an event can move through an extensive workflow of up to 25 different stages. Events can be returned for adjustments, escalated into appeals, and more — all within one streamlined process instead of scattered email communication.
The platform centralizes all event data, communication, and statuses. It also supports operational workflows such as duplication checks, organization management, and notifications. A comprehensive dashboard provides clear oversight with filters and status indicators tailored to different user roles.
In addition, a public-facing layer was developed, including a calendar and the ability to follow events. This significantly increased transparency for external stakeholders.
